A fire broke out yesterday leaving a local Ogden building in ruins. A local man named Pedro Sanchez and his family are left homeless and their restaurant destroyed. Pedro’s Mexican restaurant on the ground floor is where the fire originated and soon spread to the apartment upstairs where Pedro’s family was. Fortunately no serious injuries occurred. Only five people were in the building at the time of the fire and everyone was able to evacuate before any real damage occurred. Now they are left with the aftermath and no where to go. Rachel Calhoun, owner of the building, says they will rebuild.
Deputy Fire Chief Greg Chamberlain was one of the first firefighters to respond to the scene. They were able to put the fire out in under an hour and make sure everyone in the building was taken to neighboring hospitals for medical treatment. Chamberlain said, "I’m just glad we got everyone out safely, the building was a loss, but human life is what is most important. It was a success."

Good coverage. I think you got the facts out and made sense of the story without rambling.
